Grogan Burner Services Ltd are registered with OFTEC which is an abreviation for Oil Fired Technical Association. While it is not mandatory in Ireland for oil installers and service companies to be OFTEC registered the industry is heading that way. Being OFTEC registered means you have completed oil installation training courses and are insured to carry out relevant oil works. Also OFTEC audit all registered technicians annually to make sure they are carrying out all work to the highest standard.
Note: Since late 2009 all Firebird, Grant and Warmflow oil boilers must be commissioned by an OFTEC registered technician using a flue gas analyser and a boiler passport filled out and returned to the manufacturer. If not then the boiler warranty is invalid.

Repair/breakdown costs
- Repair call out €80 which covers the first hours labour. If parts are required this will be extra. Typically most repair callouts can be fixed within the hour. If a part needs to be ordered there is no extra charge for the return visit to install the part. We stock a large number of oil boiler parts so 95% of repairs can be fixed at the first visit.
